Key Duties:

• Conduct thorough research and analysis of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits.
• Develop and enhance threat detection methodologies and tools.
• Monitor emerging threats and security alerts, and provide insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into various projects.
• Perform security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.
• Create detailed reports and documentation on findings, methodologies, and recommendations.
• Contribute to the development of security protocols and standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Participate in incident response and forensic investigations as needed.
• Educate and train team members on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.

What we’re looking for:

• At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity research or a related field.
• Strong understanding of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
• Proficiency in security assessment tools and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Solid knowledge of security frameworks and protocols.
• Experience with incident response and forensic investigations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities in a remote setting.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
• Passion for cybersecurity and staying informed about the latest developments in the field.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and security tools (Wireshark, Metasploit, etc.).
• Familiarity with regulatory standards (ISO, NIST, GDPR) is a plus.
